Guatemalan Water Projects
2026 Safe Water Project - Lets Build It!
Imagine having no clean water access in your home or even nearby.
Clean water - we can provide this together! Our goal is to create a permanent, clean water supply at the Las Minas village area Community Center in San Jose Chacaya Guatemala! This is an area where 90% of the indigenous population suffer from intestinal issues. Our team of
engineers and scientists in Guatemala, the US and Canada have completed the
hydrologic evaluation, design and engineering work and we have selected a Guatemalan drilling company and project manager. We are thrilled to be ready to fundraise and make this happen! Funds raised will support the construction of a solar powered pumphouse, a chlorination-based treatment system, training of a local worker for long term water supply program management, water filling stations, and, the development of an ongoing water quality monitoring program. Due to the remote mountainside location, geology and equipment needs in Guatemala (and our plans to take this construction opportunity to add more solar panels to the configuration to provide energy to the Community Center), the cost is estimated to be $88,000. What a gift we can give... clean water... join us and be a part of this life changing (and lifesaving) project!
