No More Poverty Joins Guatemala Aid Fund to Fight Childhood Malnutrition February 1, 2013 Half of all children in Guatemala under age five are malnourished. Poor orphan children face an even greater crisis. A charity founded by brothers Michael Omidi, M.D. and Julian Omidi, No More Poverty, is helping the Guatemala Aid Fund to raise money for these at risk children to provide food and other necessities. No More Poverty is Pleased to support the Guatemala Aid Fund, a charity dedicated to helping a country that suffers from one of the highest rates of childhood malnutrition in the world. According to UNICEF, half of all Guatemala children under the age of five are chronically malnourished. "This extraordinary charity does so much for poor and abandoned children and adults in Guatemala," said Julian Omidi, co-founder of No More Poverty. "We at No More Poverty are proud to be among the supporters for this wonderful cause, and hope that our assistance will help provide the education, care and love they need to thrive."
